How to create a DEA compliance / biennial inventory report

This tutorial will guide you through the process of creating a DEA Compliance report.

To create a DEA Compliance or biennial inventory report, go to DEA Compliance from the left menu. Then select New Report. Enter your report title. Then select the locations you want to include in the report. By default, all locations are chosen. Select a report type. It can be a Periodic Inventory report. This is a snapshot of the current inventory levels. Or a Biennial Inventory Report. This is the same as the periodic, but it should be run once every two years. Choose an audit time. It can be the beginning of business before the prescriptions have been filled. Or close of business after all prescriptions have been filled. After that, select Run Report. Your report will be generated like this. You can edit the full and open package quantities for each NDC.
