Transcript

This tutorial will discuss how to handle a scenario where you owe a customer some pills for a prescription. To begin, fill the prescription as you normally do in your pharmacy management system. If you don't have enough inventory in C2Keep for the NDC, the pending transaction card will have a red border and a red background. Click on the pending transaction card for the prescription. Confirm that the prescription details are correct. In this example, the customer needs 15, but you only have 5 in stock and will owe the customer 10. Confirm your back count. The system will only let you dispense up to the 5 you have in stock. Hit Dispense 5. Enter your PIN. The system will confirm that you've dispensed 5. And the system will create a new pending transaction with an owed status. Click on the pending transaction. To see the dispense details, including the user who dispensed the original quantity, the date, the time, and how much you owe the customer, which in this example is 10. You currently have 0 on-hand. The system won't let you dispense this prescription. Unless you split-fill it with a different NDC. Or only after you receive the original ndc billed to the prescription. From there, adjust your transaction date/time to after you received the NDC and dispense the remaining 10.
