How to receive a custom compound you create

To receive a compound you have created, go to Compounds. From the left window, select Receive Compound. Search for the compound by entering its name or its NDC. Enter a custom lot. Enter an expiration date. Enter a transaction date and time. Enter the quantity of the compound. It is best if it is a multiple of the package size. For example, if you create 5, 30-gram vials, enter 150 AND NOT 5. After that, select Add Ingredient. Search for the drug or ingredient you used to compound. Enter the count you used to create the compound. If you used more than one ingredient, you can add the others. You can also record waste of each ingredient, but you may need a witness. Select Receive and enter your PIN. That's it. You have now received the compound in C2 Keep and it is available for dispense and more.
