This video will discuss how to record a dispense if you have a Pharmacy Management System integration. Once the Pharmacy Management System Integration is turned on and you dispense a controlled substance, it will show up as a pending transaction card in your Pending Transactions section. Each pending transaction card displays the Rx number, the drug name, the patient's name, and status. You can search for pending transactions by using the search field here. Once you found the pending transaction you want to confirm, click on the card to open it. Confirm the details of the pending transaction, including the Rx number, the fill number, the patient name, the current status, . and the transaction date time, which is the time you actually dispensed the medication Confirm the drug, the location, the count of the medication you're dispensing, and the ending balance. If you have the backcount feature turned on, confirm whether it's correct. You can add a note if you want. If everything looks good, hit Confirm. Enter your pin. The transaction will be recorded and will be displayed down in your confirmed transactions section. You can click on it to see more details, including the verifying pharmacist.
