    How to create a DEA compliance / biennial inventory report

    Purpose of the document

    This tutorial will guide you through the process of creating a DEA Compliance or Biennial Inventory report.

    Requirements to Complete Process

    It is best to run this report after completing an all drugs audit.

    If you track more than Schedule II drugs, you can filter by schedule when creating the report.

    1. To create a DEA Compliance or biennial inventory report, navigate to DEA Compliance from the left menu.

    1. Select New Report.

    1. Enter a title if you'd like. Then, select the Locations from which you wish to extract information.

    1. Choose a Report Type, such as Periodic Inventory Report or Biennial Inventory Report.

    1. Select an Audit Time. This can be at the beginning of business, meaning before any prescriptions have been filled, or close of business, after all prescriptions have been filled.

    1. Finally, select Run Report. Before finalizing the report, you can update the full and open packages of each of the NDCs.
